The one thing that kills fear is knowledge. By giving our children the knowledge they need to be a part of the solution, we empower, educate and elevate. Make your children strong. Give them roots to grow deep and wings to soar high. Give them the tools to survive.

Recently I attended a fire safety class in my community, probably very similar to the ones you teach in yours. The things I learned about fire detectors were really shocking to me. While I'm ready for any natural disaster you can send my way, and even terrorist attacks, a fire consuming my home and years of preparedness is one thing that scares me. http://tinyurl.com/qtzn9v
